My Approach
My name is Youmna and I am a Clinical Psychologist with accreditation from the Ministry of Health and Lebanese Order of Psychologists (LOPsy).
I am a present, compassionate, and cross-cultural therapist. I chose to become a clinical psychologist after over a decade in the humanitarian sector. I am a firm believer in individual and collective emotional and cognitive connection.
Therapy is a collaborative, allied, and judgement-free journey between the therapist and the client. It provides a corrective and kind experience to reflect, push through fear, develop a deeper emotional connection, and rewire thoughts and patterns that no longer serve you in the present and future.
I aim to support individuals and groups in reclaiming their narratives and discovering their inner strength and resources, so they are equipped with long-lasting awareness, healthy boundaries, and tools to navigate stressors and uncertainties in a demanding, fast-paced, cutthroat environment.
I believe the ultimate goal of therapy is to unlearn to re-learn, restore connection and harmony between the self and the environment, strengthen natural intelligence, solidify new coping styles, and rebuild trust as continous challenges are inevitable.
